Fish Diseases (3 credit hours, no laboratory section) is a graduate level course tailored to students with interests in the captive maintenance and field monitoring of aquatic animal diseases (principally fishes) as well as in the ecology and evolutionary biology of parasites and their hosts. All major and minor groups of fish pathogens are included in this survey course. Successful students emerge from the course with a nuanced understanding of the biodiversity, natural history, physiology, and pathobiology of fish symbionts and pathogens.
